Cockroach Allergies And Roach Rash
Most people cannot stand these unsightly pests known as cockroaches. Not only do they look ugly when crawling all over your home at night, but they are also known to trigger allergies in human beings. If you or any of your family members suffer from asthma or other allergies, coming into contact with cockroach saliva, feces, or even body parts can trigger these conditions. Moreover, these allergens resemble dust mites, which can aggravate symptoms when stirred up in the atmosphere. In other words, you are still likely to be affected even if you don’t come into direct contact with the pest. According to figures from the National Pest Management Association, 63% of homes are infested by cockroaches. This percentage rises in homes situated in urban areas. These figures indicate that cockroaches are indeed a problem in many homes. Unless they are eradicated, chances are they will not disappear on their own.
